Been on holiday to lakes for about the last twenty years, stay in Grasmere walked all over but not to cathedral caves it will be on my to do list after watching your video.
Brings back memories of last year I exited via the back way and split my head open on the low roof it was raining and it looked like blood bath. Never know how that bridge is still standing but it has passed the test of time of course.
Ouch, there is no give in those rocks that’s for sure. I hope it was ok. The bridge is a total patchwork but seems to have done the job somehow. All the best out there mate ⛰️😁🥾
Here you go mate, It's a good one. Enjoy! explore.osmaps.com/route/21307244/cathedral-caves?lat=54.418654&lon=-3.062767&zoom=15.2076&style=Standard&type=2d
@@GaryMorris222 Hi Gary, Where the pub is, there are parking spaces about 300ft down the road to the east (probably the way you come from). Enjoy mate 😁
