I've been there, stayed at Sofitel in Manila, in Oct 2023. Beautiful place, great service, nice pool, and excellent food. So worth the price!

Sai is brave! Balut is not an easy thing to eat...just looking at it makes my stomach turn. Aside from the balut, that was a fantastic meal. Time to head for the gym to work it all off.

Been to Manila a few times. Never knew about this place. I've had crap meals in NYC that was only 1 entree and 2 sides for more than $90. This place is a bargain!

When I had a bufet there it was in a slightly different area and I had roast beef and all the trimmings, didn't look like you had that option. Many Filipinos don't like Balut also so don't worry. I do like that Hotel but my favorite used to be the Peninsular in Makati, taught my daughter to swim in that pool. Talking of pools, the pool there at Sofitel is also very nice. I'm wondering if you will be trying the Manila Hotel.

It's never a good video unless Sai is eating ,as a matter of fact every single video includes food , but that's what makes these great video's Adam. I would love to see how you guys burn off the calories and what you look like in the morning after eating all the delicious food. Honestly nice selection of food at this buffet and for the price it's well worth it , thanks guys and can't wait for the next one.

Sai, you need to get on Fear Factor if it's still being produced. You approached eating duck embryo with little or no apprehension. Plus, Thai people like most of the Southeast Asian countries are accustomed to eating very unusual things. The place looks unbelievable some many choices . Must have been an amazing foodies experience for both of you.

Little fyi to mix your soy with wasabi or anything else is considered an insult and dipping your food in a bowl of soy is bad luck.

I swear I never ate Balut in the Philippines when I lived there for 4 yrs! But my GF swears I ate 7 one night when I was drunk on Red Horse and Mojo. So who knows? I would never eat Balut when Sober thats for dam sure!
