At the end of the day all you have to do is to point at someone with certain favorites and scream 'tryhard elitist' and 60% of the community won't take them seriously anymore. It's all about having the option to dismiss someone's opinion based on their favorites if you're not liking where an argument with them is going. Because at the end it's OP and the similarly-minded people who decide in their head who is pretending and who's honest about their favorites. Surprisingly those judgments will show bias towards those with favorites they can relate to, aka which are similar to theirs. Now who can explain why that might be?

For example, if you don't like Cowboy Bebop...you don't like the show. Don't force yourself to like it. I find a show like Queens Blades to be good...like REALLY good despite all the negative backlash that series gets. Same goes for Strawberry Panic. Granted not as negative force behind it

What am I getting here like what you want to like. Not because 4chan or some youtuber tells you. I can recommend you a show, but at the end of the day it is up to you.

For me, I don't got a taste. I just want something good. It can be anything you know. I always have believe any genre in anime, gaming, and music can be good. So why limit myself to only playing platformers for example in the gaming realm? Why limit myself to only watching shouen anime? Why limit myself to only listening to rap music?

Now if only moeblob shows could follow the concept of basic story structure a lot of them wouldn't end up being boring pieces of shit.
